Beckon the Call was created for like-minded players to share the World of Warcraft experience. You will find resources such as answers to questions and a variety of skilled professionals will to share their experise for the cost of materials. There are also organized guild instance runs and raids. Please adhere to the following guidelines so that all may enjoy being a part of this fantastic group. Please note that non-compliance is cause for dismissal.
1. Your conduct in-game is representational of Beckon the Call. Please conduct yourself in a respectful manner at all times. Do not spam the general or trade channels or act in any manner unbecoming to the guild. Treat fellow guild members with respect, this goes for anyone.
2. Do not ask for gold. Within the guild or any other chat.
3. Do not use profanity in the guild or any other chat. Yes, there is a filter. Yes, most of us cuss in real life. But this a game and there are many children who play. Again, please be respectul.
4. Do not ask for runs by higher levels. They are sometimes offered but please remember that these are people playing the game, too, and they have their own goals. Runs also inhibit a person's learning of how to play their class and handle specific roles in a team setting...skills which are needed as you progress.
5. Please respond to requests from guild officers. If you are asked to refrain from certain behavior, please cease immediately.
6. By all means, offer your skills as an enchanter, alchemist, tailor, etc. But please do not look to make a profit from guild members. Asking for materials or reimbursements are fine. Likewise, if you are seeking services please do not expect fellow guild members to go "out of pocket" for expenses. And respect the fact that the guild member with something you need may not be able to get to it right away.
7. Do not put grey or white items into the bank. Please only take items that you will actually use for yourself. The guild bank is not a place to withdraw items for auction or to give to friends who are not in the guild. Useful items and gold, while not a condition of membership, are always appreciated.
8. Use your ability to invite members judiciously. There are those who simply will not fit within the framework of this guild. Seek to bring members in who will make a positive contribution.
9. Always ask permission to "need" on a roll, both within and without the guild. Make sure that it is an item that you actually need. Ninja behavior makes us all look bad.
10. Have fun! Remember that we are all here to enjoy ourselves. Beckon the Call and the World of Warcraft are what you choose to make of it.
